Introduction & Overview
Welcome to preschool at Heritage. With God's help and your blessings, we will do everything possible to make this a fun and positive experience for your child.

Below are some things that you need to know so that you and your child will benefit the most from their time here at Heritage Preschool. This should give you an idea of what your child will be doing and learning at school.

DAILY ACTIVITIES AND CENTERS
Our Art and Writing Center will include markers, crayons, glue sticks and scissors, as well as pencils and paper. This center helps with their fine motor skills and use of their imagination to make some beautiful artwork.

Our Dramatic Play Center will give your child the opportunity to explore dramatic play. This is a great center to learn how to share and play with other children. At various times during the year, this center will have different themes.

Our Block & Puzzle Center will have various interactive activities, including manipulative (put-together type toys) to work on fine motor skills and sharing.

Our Book Center is a quiet center where your child may sit alone or with friends to read.

Easel painting & Playdough crafting are available on a daily basis. We also have a sand table that is filled with different materials depending on the teaching unit.

DAILY ACTIVITY BOARD
A list of our daily activities and centers will be posted on the door. A monthly calendar and newsletter will be sent home each month to keep you updated on our progress, special days, and weekly themes.

DAILY ACTIVITIES
Upon arrival, the children have free play. Here they can choose their own activity or center to create and construct. This is followed by circle time which is spent singing songs, learning fingerplays, and reading stories. After snack, we have music time where we enjoy strengthening our gross motor skills using movement songs. We also go outside to play every day, weather permitting.

BEING ON TIME
It is very important that you have your child to school on time. There are several reasons for this, but the main one is that it allows your child to be greeted personally by the teachers before coming into the classroom. We are always available to talk or listen to you if you should need to do so.

It is a privilege to be in your child's life, and we will pray daily that this will be a positive experience for you and your child.

Classes & Tuition

We offer classes for Preschoolers Monday through Thursday from
9-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:00 p.m.

Cost: $228/ month, plus a registration fee of $50
